Who's Behind Track Trump?

Welcome to Track Trump.

We believe it is important that citizens have the ability to understand and follow in real-time policy changes that will impact their lives.

Over the next 100 days we will track and document the policies put into place by the Trump administration. Our project will concentrate on tracking the specific policy pledges from the Trump campaign's "Contract with the American Voter".

Our goals are:

1) Isolate actual policy changes from rhetoric and political theater. We will avoid covering tweets, public statements, and anything else that distracts from actual policy as much as we can.

2) Utilize a digital dashboard to accurately and concisely track and communicate those changes. Evaluating progress against stated goals in an easy-to-digest way works well in the business world, and we are optimistic it will be helpful here.

3) Hold the current administration accountable for the promises they have made to the American voter.

We hope to build a resource that is useful to all people, regardless of political viewpoint, who are interested in monitoring the accomplishments of the incoming administration in an unfiltered manner.

On the home page, you will see icons for eight policy categories that encompass the promises made in the Contract. Under each category, progress on specific promises will be updated. Our tracker will change from gray ("no action"), to yellow ("steps taken"), to green ("policy implemented") as progress is made on a particular issue. If a policy fails to be implemented or a position is changed in some official capacity, the tracker will change to red.

To assure that our tracker is as comprehensive as possible, we welcome your feedback and tips as to progress on a policy that we may have missed. Send us an email at [email protected]
